Thanks, I was nervous coloring the piece because I would revert back to methods I was used to without even realizing it. The purple hue was one of the things I was sort of iffy on, too. I thought perhaps it was *too* purple Thanks again for the kind words, though!

Yay! I was going for sexy! I'm still toying with the whole background-thing, though. The backgrounds in some of your CG work look really freakin' cool (like the forbidden fruit one you posted in your LJ recently)...I'm trying to get that down! God I wish I could take some of those classes over again (or more classes, really).

It's actually pretty easy to imply a lot without doing too much. I got my ideas from these placed:

The backgrounds aren't usually too detailed, but they look really good. Another thing to check out is background painters for movies--they're good at layering the backgrounds to give depth.

That's really nice, and I do like the background. It's really effective.
You should keep submitting stuff, your work is really good. And there's not as many capcom fans about as there should be.

Hey, thanks! I think I'll play around with this technique a little more (with some research next time, though).

It's tough being a Capcom fan. They have some great characters and great games but won't do anything with them except combine them all into compilation or anthology fighters I would love to see a true, completely redrawn sequel to Vampire Savior. While I'm dreaming, I also want it to feature high res sprites animated on the level close to Street Fighter 3.

Back to reality: thanks for the kind words! Though I meant to kill this site recent events are directing me to do the exact opposite and post more often. I was about to type "I need to expose myself" however rewording it to "I need all of the exposure I can get" seemed wiser (though considerably less hilarious).
